| Victor ledgers state that selection was dubbed from three Victor recordings, “Train whistle blues” (BVE-55309), “Blue yodel” (BVE-40753), and “Everybody does it in Hawaii” (BVE-55307). |
| This is a puzzle record, using dubs of "Train whistle blues," "Blue yodel" and "Everybody does it in Hawaii." The take number indicates that several attempts at mastering were made on the date indicated. There were earlier attempts (takes 1, 2) on 10/27/1931; Rodgers was not present on either date. Puzzle records were cut with parallel groove sets that reproduce different selections depending on where the needle is placed. |
