Source(s): DEx: Disc examined; PCDoc: Documents consulted by Paul Charosh: National Gram-o-phone Co. "Record catalogue," Oct. 1898; Smart Sousa Band discography (conductor); trade catalog.
Charosh notes "Orange blossoms" and "Southern blossoms" as two different issues numbered 65. Library of Congress cataloging of the recording implies that they are the same composition. Charosh notes that a copy of Berliner 65 bears the title "Souhern blossom" and a 1898 catalog lists the selection as "Southern blossoms."
